Courses by Subject

Students who minor in Religious Studies will select their classes from a growing list of approved courses. Below, the current list of approved courses is divided into thematic categories. Criteria for these category divisions include subject matter, approach, time period, and geography. Many courses appear in more than one category of study.

To fulfill the breadth requirement, students must take courses that reflect distinct geographic, temporal, and conceptual aspects of religion. This division of courses by category gives students a sense of their options in fulfilling the breadth requirement.
